Engineering Manager - Alfreton
Salary £52,000 p/a + 8% Bonus + 33 Days Hol + 13% Pension + Good Sick Pay
High volume Manufacturer - Team of 15 people
Monday-Friday (Flexi Hours)

Your Projects:
  • Implement a strong PPM Schedule for Engineers to work to.
  • Run continuous improvement projects, Six Sigma, Kaizen & World Class manufacturing techniques to improve efficiency.
  • Deliver Capex projects - Installation of new machinery, site/facility upgrades etc.
  • Improve machinery downtime and speed of repairs through up-skilling current Engineers.

Heavily renowned in their industry and have since partnered with a larger corporation that is investing heavily in brand new machinery, formal training for their engineers and in more people.

Right now the business is looking to recruit an additional Engineering Manager that can join their team and drive the performance of this site.

The Candidate:

My Client immediately requires an Engineering Manager with the following experience:

·Engineering Management experience working for a high volume manufacturing business.

·World Class Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Continuous Improvement experience would be a ideal

·Proven track record as an Engineer - Either Mechanical or Electrical Apprentice trained with years in a suitable role.

·Strong leadership skills - Ability to drive change, performance improvement and motivate staff.
