2nd Line Service Desk & Field Engineer

Up to £26k dependent upon experience

We are one of the region's leading IT businesses, having high exposure throughout the East Midlands and Nationwide. We are continually looking to push forward and develop our business and our team to achieve key milestones. To support our growth, we are actively looking to recruit a customer focused 2ndLine Service Desk Engineer to work within our established team in Nottingham.

This role would be split between service desk (80%) and field work (20%) responsibilities when acting as a main point of escalation for 1stline service desk engineers. You will have responsibility for technical problem resolution to meet with clients expectations with experience of supporting some or all of the following systems/applications considered essential;

·Microsoft Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8 and 10

·Microsoft Office 2003, 2007, 2010, 2013 and 2016

·Microsoft Office 365 Platform

·Microsoft Windows Server 2003, 2007, 2010, 2012 and 2016

·Microsoft Exchange Server 2003, 2007, 2010, 2013 and 2016

We are ideally looking for someone that has experienced delivering 1stand 2ndline support on a service desk that is looking to increase their responsibility or someone that is looking for perhaps a broader role involving onsite work alongside service desk responsibilities.
