Salary: £26,288 (rising to £27,671.98 upon successful completion of probation)

We are recruiting for a Neighbourhood Officer to join our Neighbourhood division. The successful candidate will report in to the Neighbourhood Manager and will join a friendly and supportive team and organisation.

Having recently demerged, Cobalt is going through significant change, and it is a truly exciting time to be part of the Neighbourhood team and be a pivotal part in providing exceptional housing and estate services to our tenants.

Your strong background and career history as a Housing or Neighbourhood Officer within the social housing sector will help you to deliver on key areas within your neighbourhood "patch", including management of low level antisocial behaviour, assisting the Community Regeneration Team in coordinating events, identifying shortfalls in service delivery and acting as the lead officer for all estate and tenancy management issues within your "patch".

To be considered for this role, you will need to have experience and knowledge of social housing. The role is reliant on strong communication/interpersonal skills on both a customers and business level and as part of this, you must be able to work well on your own and as part of a team. You must have your own use of a vehicle and hold a valid UK driving licence. Knowledge of Orchard Housing system is desirable. The salary for Neighbourhood Officer is £26,288 (rising to £27,671.98 upon successful completion of probation). Cobalt's standard working week is 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will enjoy 23 days holiday, Flexi time, plus 3 additional days for Christmas shut down, as well as the option to join the company pension scheme.
