Their specialisms are real estate, banking and finance, commercial, corporate, employment, dispute resolution and litigation.

The Job:

We are delighted to be assisting our client for a Document Production Technician. This team provides document production, amendment, finishing and trouble shooting services to our clients legal and non-legal teams.
  • Produce and amend, with speed and accuracy, correspondence, faxes, attachments and complex documents such as reports, deeds and agreements.
  • Create and amend complex PowerPoint presentations and Excel spreadsheets.
  • Transcribe large volumes of dictations quickly and accurately.
  • Convert PDFs via conversion software or by copy typing.
  • Complete forms using Laserforms software.
  • Edit, merge, redact and/or secure PDF documentation.
  • Create and amend Visio diagrams.
  • Perform mail merges and assist with mass mailings.
  • Troubleshoot and provide expert technical advice.
  • Design documents using branding guidelines and work closely with the BD team to help create new and/or update existing templates.
  • Develop and test templates and applications by creating test scripts and updating analysis logs.
  • Support junior team members in times of low resource and/or heavy workloads
  • Answer telephone calls in a prompt and professional manner and take and pass on clear and concise messages.
  • Use and update the work management system to provide transparency to DLS clients on the progress of their work.
  • Proofread and quality check all work to ensure it is accurate, consistent, adheres to and meets the firm's standards.

The Person:

For this role our client is looking for someone ideally with
  • Strong communication skills (both oral and written), a good telephone manner and client service ethos are essential.
  • Good organisational, accuracy and attention to detail skills are required.
  • Ability to be flexible managing tasks and workload on a daily basis is also essential.
  • Ability to work using own initiative and as a team member, maintaining a positive attitude, under pressure in a professional manner is essential.
  • Advanced knowledge of the MS Office suite including Word and Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
  • Advanced experience of using track changes, multi versioned documents and comparison software.
  • Knowledge of PDF creation and amendment software is essential.
  • Previous experience working with complex legal documents is essential.
  • Previous experience within a professional services environment is essential.
  • Knowledge of version control in a document management system is essential.
  • Previous experience with case management systems, particularly SolCase would be beneficial.
  • Previous experience working with automated templates or MS Office styles would be beneficial.

The Hours:

Wednesday - Friday 3pm - 11pm (3 nights are minimum but you can also work 4 or 5 evenings if preferred

The Salary:

£18-19,000 pro-rata (£9.89 - 10.43 per hour)
