Key Account Manager - Construction Trade

This is an account management role where you'll manage a well-established base of accounts consisting of contractors from all disciplines of the building trade.

You'll work with a wide-ranging customer base consisting of medium and large businesses throughout your area.

You can expect on-going training, not just on our products but on customer management and how to get the best results from working in partnership with them. You'll be assigned a mentor who'll support you day-to-day, introduce you to existing customers and help you build relationships with them.

You'll shadow other team members be given all the tools necessary to be a success in this role and help prepare you for others further up the career ladder.

ABOUT YOUIt goes without saying that you are a people-person, career driven, enthusiastic and have a hunger to succeed. You're a social chameleon, as comfortable chatting in the boardroom as you are on the shop-floor. You're technically-minded; able to pick up and understand things quickly and have an innate ability to get your head around new concepts. You understand how to add value in a customer relationship, rather than simply just making a sale.

It is most likely that you are working within the construction industry in a commercial role already, either in a sales or account management position and are looking for your next career step.

You can expect a basic starting salary of up to £30,000 (and an OTE of circa £40,000), along with a fully expensed company car, pension scheme, private healthcare, share options scheme, life assurance and various other perks.
