Role

We are delighted to be recruiting on an exclusive basis for our Client, an established and successful IFA Firm, north of Newcastle. Due to continued growth, they have an immediate requirement for an additional Administrator, to work on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities:

· Processing new business
· Servicing existing and new business
· Preparing valuations and reviews
· Obtain illustrations and ensure support material is available depending on client / adviser specific requests
· Packaging the paperwork to the client and the product provider
· Set up client file and ensure any relevant checklist is completed accurately
· Maintain effective communication with the product provider and client
· Oversee administration and processing to completion
· Issue policy documents and thank you letter
· Make appointments as required
· Pro-actively support advisers on various mailing activities using diary system as a reminder
· Encourage advisers to release administration
· Input information onto Back Office Software accurately
· Manage the events list within Back Office Software
· Chase outstanding issues for advisers
· Implement core tasks such as photocopying, answering telephone as required, maintaining the filing system, distribution of post and associated mail items within office
· Maintain good quality relationships with providers and clients alike
· Greet all incoming calls in a professional business and courteous manner
· Comply with all company procedures, FCA Rules and any relevant legislation
· Treat all client and firm's information with the utmost confidentiality

Candidate Requirements
  • Candidates must have worked in an IFA firm previously
    · Have a thorough understanding of investments and pensions processing
    · Be able to maintain good time management and effective organisation
    · Work under own initiative and prioritise work effectively
    · Complete work accurately and efficiently
    · Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
