Are you an experienced Finance Assistant looking for a part-time position?

We are delighted to be working with an established SME business based on the outskirts of Portsmouth, who have recently gone through a change in ownership. The business has built a solid reputation in their industry with an enviable client base and have exciting plans for growth.

To be considered for the position you will have a minimum of 3 years' previous experience as a Finance Assistant.

Responsibilities include:
  • Credit control
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Ordering of stock
  • Setting up new customers and suppliers
  • Dealing with invoice queries
  • Processing sales invoices and purchase orders
  • Assisting Operations Manager with financial reports

Education/Systems experience
  • Knowledge of Sage (or similar)
  • Microsoft Office including Excel
  • GCSE English and Mathematics (Grace C or above)

This role will report directly to the Operations Manager and suit a hands on individual with a flexible approach, is confidential, has a high level of attention to detail and enjoys working within a highly motivated, committed team environment.

Benefits include:
  • £18,000 to £22,000 (pro-rata)
  • 23 days holiday (includes 3 to cover Xmas)
