RoleWorking to provide all aspects of Compliance support and guidance to two particular brands, and assisting with the compliance needs of the rest of the Group as required. Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws & regulations is achieved and maintained by the brands and providing general support to the Compliance Team where required.

You will be responsible for:
All compliance related work streams, providing compliance support to teams as part of the customer lifecycle, privacy and data protection activities, information security and risk management. The successful candidate will also work closely with the Compliance and IT Security Managers to provide assistance in all aspects of compliance related work, including; documentation, administration, internal and external audits, reviews and stakeholder management.

You will be an exceptional candidate, with experience in a similar role. In particular we are looking for candidates who have:

  • Proven track record in a Compliance based role or similar
  • Experience engaging with stakeholders to effectively manage and complete compliance related work requests within agreed timeframes.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to ensure compliance-based risks, initiatives and ongoing issues are identified and prioritised
  • Working knowledge of Data Protection and privacy legislation
  • Flexibility to work across multiple locations where necessary and work within an International team
  • Able to adapt to changing requirements in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to understand Regulation, legislation and provide a position based on their knowledge.
  • Excellent English language skills, both spoken and written.

  • Experience of working towards the ISO 27001 standard
  • Working knowledge of Regulatory Frameworks for Telecommunications
  • Degree or equivalent in Regulatory Compliance
  • Experience of working with enterprise Risk Management applications
  • GDPR Foundation or practitioner certification
  • Experience of external audits and achieving accreditation
  • Experience of working for a business communications provider and/or a SaaS provider
  • Experience of working for a regulatory authority or regulated company
  • Experience of creating, enhancing and maintaining policies, procedures and processes to ensure standards are achieved and upheld
  • Ability to resolve identified non-conformities and collaborate with multiple teams to prepare group companies for successful ISO 27001/9001/14001 audits
