PCV Engineering Technician - Liverpool

Salary: Competitive upon experience

Working hours: Hours would be 30-40 spread over a Monday to Friday, 06:00 to 17:00 but flexibility will be required (Overtime available at Management discretion).

Our Client are a Liverpool-based bus operator providing bus services in and around the region, due to an unprecedented rate of growth an opportunity has arisen for an experienced PCV Engineering Technician to join their busy workshop in Liverpool.

The Role.

Carrying out motor vehicle servicing and repairs to approved standards as well as delivering unbeatable customer service every time

Job Responsibilities:

The successful applicant will already be experienced with PCV's and possess excellent diagnostic skills and be good at working on their own initiative or as part of a small team. Familiarity with the latest DVSA "Guide to Maintaining Roadworthiness requirements is essential. Ideally the successful candidate will already be IRTEC accredited but we can offer you the opportunity to attain this through our training provider.

A summary of principle duties will be to diagnose and rectify vehicle faults. This will include both mechanical and bodywork, so you must be versatile and multiskilled. We would expect you to be able to observe, recognise and report on vehicle component defects or symptoms which are likely to affect the reliability and safety of our fleet.


A full PCV licence is essential.
