Due to continued growth and success of the business the Infrastructure team has an opportunity for a 2nd Line Support Engineer with core skills in VMware, Server and Storage technologies, Exchange and Active Directory. Along with these skills the individual should have a broad knowledge of infrastructure technologies with excellent problem management / troubleshooting skills.

The environment services 650 users operating from 2 data centres, the majority of the client base access our systems via a thin client and Server based Remote Desktop Services.

The individual needs to be passionate about technology with a desire to develop their skills, you will need to be a proactive individual, willing to muck in and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Below is a list of technology areas we are looking for skills in but not limited too, If you have the experience we are looking for, we'd like to hear from you.


- VMWare 6.0, including clustering, DRS, replication and backup

- Exchange 2010 including multi-site DAG's, replication, failover, Active-sync devices and backup

- Active Directory, including policy development, integrated DFS, AD roles and troubleshooting

- Remote Desktop Services, Including Farm environments

- Symantec Backup Exec management and troubleshooting

- Windows 7 and 10

- Windows Server 2008 R2, Server 2012 R2, management and troubleshooting

- Network Printer Set Up - Print Management,

- Scripting is desirable

- Symantec Virus Protection and clean-up

- Basic Cisco network knowledge. Switch management, configuration and troubleshooting

- Server Monitoring - Event management

- Thorough Documentation - Inventories, Ticket Logging/Updating, Processes and Guides

- 5 years' experience in an IT Administrator role
