Our client is seeking an experienced Payroll Co-ordinator to take ownership of the monthly payroll in a sole capacity basis

Duties include;
  • Meet with Human Resources with or without the Finance Manager and Finance Director on a monthly basis to discuss any variations to staff pay for the upcoming month.
  • Scrutinise and confirm any changes for employees and liaise with Human Resources as well as the Finance Manager to ensure that all amendments are recorded, justified and authorised.
  • Complete the monthly payroll instructions to the outsourced payroll agency.
  • Extract staff expenses and Panel claims form and prepare this for processing by the outsourced payroll agency.
  • Liaise with HR regarding staff sickness, maternity leave, paternity leave, adoption leave and redundancies, as appropriate.
  • Review and perform necessary checks upon the information returned by the outsourced payroll agency to ensure accuracy and completeness, including resolution of any queries.
  • Process the payment of all payroll related costs, such as tax, pension contributions, trade union memberships and any other costs to the relevant authorities.
  • Resolve staff queries arising relating to payroll matters in liaison with HR in a timely manner.
  • Using Excel for spreadsheets you will be required to be confident to complete formulas, vlookups and pivot tables
  • Monthly reporting and reconciliations
