STORE MANAGER

FULL TIME - PERMANENT - 22-26K SALARY

We are recruiting for a household brand in the retail industry who are looking to recruit a Store Manager and a Deputy Manager. If you are an accomplished Store Manager or experienced Assistant Manager and are keen to take a step up this position could be for you.

As Store Manager, you will be commercially minded with a proven track record in sales and service. A good communicator, the Store Manager will be able to support, manage and motivate a team to deliver great results. With an eye for detail. You will have strong visual skills and understand the importance of excellent product management.

Purpose of Role:

·Responsible for the successful management of all store operations ensuring all key measures/targets are met, including but not limited to sales, contribution, cost, stock loss and mystery shop visits through the management and motivation of the store management and sales team. A key aspect of this role is to ensure consistency and compliance in the execution of company policies and adherence to processes within the store.

Skills/Experience Required:

·At least 2 years retail and/or management experience

·Minimum of 5 GCSE's A to C including Maths and English

·Highly motivated

·Dedicated to delivering high standards and achieving targets

·Proven leadership skills

·Proven stock control expertise in managing stock in a controlled and accurate manner

·Inspirational and motivational leader who can communicate well across all levels

·Visual merchandising skills

Responsibilities:

·Maximise sales through the implementation of sales generation activities to achieve the store budget

·Minimise costs by ensuring the store operates within set targets in order to achieve the planned level of profitability and productivity.

·Ensure the store operates in accordance with statutory regulations and company policy and procedures regarding Stock Control, Cash Handling, Security, Human Resources, Health and Safety as well as maintaining good hygiene standards to protect customers, staff and reputation of the organisation.

·Maintain staff scheduling planning levels and ensure enough heads are available throughout each trading day by implementing a master rota.

·Understand employment law and importance of managing health and safety.

·Manage shrinkage and ensure this is kept to a minimum in all stores by ensuring all company policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.

·Coach and develop team members within the store, ensuring that they are given appropriate training to carry out their jobs, and additional training and development to enhance their abilities in preparation for progression to more senior positions.
