This role is an accounts administration assistant, based primarily in our James Chambers Halifax office but also work will be involved in our Garrards Timber Huddersfield and Kirkstall Timber Leeds offices.

You will be working closely with our Group financial controller and other departmental controllers.

Some of the duties involved will be;

Data input

Purchase Ledger

Checking delivery notes, purchase orders and supplier invoices

Dealing with queries and liasing with departments to resolve

Dealing with suppliers remits and payments

Assisting with HR and Payroll

Answering the telephone and other general office duties

Analysis of data

Ideally you will have a good level of education with both Maths and English qualifications, 2 years minimum experience in an administrative role covering finance and accounts. Knowledge of financial computing software and experience in Excel and Word.
