Stonbury is an expanding business with an increasing presence as a specialist contractor in the water industry. We currently hold 5 and 10 year framework contracts covering 75% of the UK with 15 of the UK's leading water companies as well as the Environment Agency. Whilst our core business is the refurbishment of potable water storage reservoirs and water towers, we have also recently constructed our first new-build reservoir. Reporting to the Director of People and Culture, the Training Administrator will be responsible for the booking and effective administration of training to all members of staff. This is a 12 month fixed term contract with the possibility of extension.


You will thrive by taking ownership of a departmental function and have solid experience in a customer service or administration position. You will have demonstrable experience of building effective internal and external working relationships. You will also be motivated to deliver efficiencies in a rapidly changing environment. Some knowledge of HR practices is an advantage.

  • Educated to GCSE level including passes in Maths and English
  • Previous experience of working in a busy office environment
  • A good communicator, able to deal confidently with a variety of people face-to- face, in writing and on the telephone by adopting tact and diplomacy
  • Able to work alone using own initiative to solve problems and complete multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Display resilience and a positive attitude in a busy and sometimes pressured office environment
  • Committed to high levels of accuracy
  • Able to work flexibly in line with business requirements
  • Strong IT skills, in particular MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Proven planning and organisation skills with ability to prioritise workloads
