Secondary Health & Social Care Teacher required - July 2019 - Rochdale
£110 - £165 per day

This exciting Health & Social Care Teacher position available for an initial maternity cover and starting in July 2019 is the perfect opportunity to join a desirable secondary school in the Rochdale area. This role will also require teaching some textiles and food technology

Are you passionate about teaching? Are you a flexible practitioner able to teach Health & Social Care, textiles and food technology?

This Health & Social Care Teacher position will teach a timetable Key Stage 4 class groups as well as some Textiles and Food Technology at KS3. You will be required to plan and deliver lessons that challenge and engage learners across a range of abilities.

This Ofsted 'Good' school has a new leadership team that are passionate about implementing strategies that will ensure learners are provided with a top class education. Their vision is to give students the opportunity to succeed academically and socially beyond both their expectations and prior attainment - in order to deliver this vision the school aims to provide a learning experience that is enjoyable and engaging.

Teachers of all experience levels will be considered for the role, including NQTs.

To be considered for this Health & Social Care Teacher role you should have:
Recognised teaching qualification PGCE or equivalent (QTS).
The ability to quickly build positive relationships with both staff and students.
Strong subject knowledge of the curriculum including the new GCSE.

Current DBS registered with the DBS Update Service - if you do not have a DBS registered online PK Education will provide full assistance in getting you one.
