Support Worker Permanent, Full Time & Bank Work available £ ; per hour Near Maidenhead Due to the expansion and success of our hospital, we are now looking to recruit motivated Support Workers to join our friendly and supportive team at this dual purpose Mental Health/Nursing Home Hospital near Maidenhead. We operate a dual purpose whereby mental health regulated activities run parallel to a Nursing Home environment, the services cater for the needs of both genders. Maintain the hygiene, dignity, health and safety of service users at all times. Assist service users individually as required to support them with daily routines and activities. Observing service users ensuring a safe environment, protecting them from harm. Encourage a model of self-care and service user rehabilitation. Systematically solve day-to-day basic problematic issues which arise. Work in cooperation with members of multi-disciplinary health teams so as to maximise opportunities for service user therapeutic care. Assist in the design and administration of an evaluation of the care standards and care service provision. If applicable, assist in the administration of medication. Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the standards required by legislation related to the registration of the service. Maintain an awareness of the Health and Safety requirements. Support Worker - Background & Profile: Someone who has a real passion for caring and helping people At least 6 months experience of working in a care environment Ideally an NVQ Level 2 and/or 3 - although full training will be provided Flexible in their approach to work Ability to work on shift/rota pattern Good written and verbal communication This is an excellent opportunity join a growing yet well-established company that genuinely values our staff.
