This is a fantastic opportunity for a project coordinator to join a global business for a 12 month contract.

Key responsibilities of the Project Coordinator:
  • Working on various brands and with key input to relevant project teams, provide technical expertise and support to global colleagues working across category innovation projects. Reporting to the Resource Manager, define key studies, complex work programmes, and collate data to be used in the implementation of innovation projects and capability areas within the Group.
  • For larger innovation projects, assist the Technical Project Leader by owning and maintaining project networks, driving cross-functional team-working and having dialogue with non-R&D colleagues.
  • For smaller innovation projects, act as Technical Project Leader, taking full accountability for delivery of R&D elements of the project and seeking input and support as necessary from more experienced TPLs.


The ideal Project Coordinator:
  • A working knowledge of the main science themes and the chemistry of product formulations and technologies
  • Awareness of a wide range of methodologies for assessing intrinsic product/substrate condition, and delivery of product benefits (e.g. softness, friction) - still needed for Appraisal/Claims interactions
  • Fully operational knowledge of product performance attributes and claims
  • Strong networks of cross-functional contacts, as well as global team counterparts, with an ability to utilise personal networks to influence outcomes.
  • Technical expertise in raw materials and supplier networks.
  • Knowledge of toolbox operation and management of best practice systems e.g. Interspec, Pelican, Moonlander
  • Full appreciation of Functional Excellence in Innovation
  • Knowledge of, and adherence to, Standard Operating Procedures for laboratory equipment, and working to safe practices including GLP, at all times

Job Offer

The Offer: Up to £33,000 or equivalent daily rate
