Reed Accountancy are delighted to offer this excellent opportunity for the position of a full time Payroller. You will be enthusiastic, accurate and reliable person who respects the confidential nature of payroll and work well as part of a team. This is a varied role sharing with 5 others in the department on several payrolls including weekly paid, monthly and pensioners.

Main duties include;
  • All normal tasks of running an in-house payroll system, including dealing with starters & leavers, daily, weekly, monthly and yearend routines
  • Data input, printing payslips, checking, reconciliations, filing, other payroll associated tasks and ad hoc reports
  • Assisting with the control of our national Staff Attendance system
  • A good knowledge of accounting practices would be advantageous
  • Dealing with telephone queries from staff, pensioners and external parties. Liaison with Personnel department
  • Good written and verbal communication skills are required, as are accuracy and timely reporting to deadlines
