Page Personnel are delighted to be partnering with a well known and established business in central Bristol in recruiting a temporary Accounts Payable Clerk, to start immediately.

This opportunity will be working within a busy finance team and will provide support for the Accounts Payable Department over the next 3/4 months.

Client Details

Our client is a successful and well known business in the Media industry located in Central Bristol. The office boasts good transport links, being close to Temple Meads train station, alongside flexible working hours to suit a balanced lifestyle.

Description

The main responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Clerk will include:
  • Matching, checking and coding invoices
  • Processing staff expenses and credit cards
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Managing petty cash
  • Making payments via BACS and cheques
  • Ad hoc data entry

Profile

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following behaviours and skill sets:
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Solid team working skills
  • Self-disciplined and efficient, with a flexible and proactive nature
  • Experienced in Excel and Microsoft office packages
  • Knowledge of software packages such as SAGE and BACS
  • Demonstrable experience of bookkeeping
  • Ability to work to deadlines
