Senior IT Support Analyst

We are looking for a Senior Analyst to become part of the team at a luxury 5 star hotel in Buckinghamshire.

Senior IT Support Analyst - Specific Duties:
  • Supporting two UK based offices and three overseas offices (travel will be required)
  • Primary duties are to install, configure & support IT infrastructure including servers and networking equipment (e.g. SAN, NAS, switches and peripherals) to ensure systems are available to end users
  • Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance & security upgrades\updates\patches
  • Manage Backups\DR via Symantec Backup Exec, Veeam and Symantec System Recovery, imaging software (eg Acronis, Ghost)

Senior IT Support Analyst -Troubleshoot, support & administer:
  • MS Windows Server 2008, 2012 & 2016
  • MS Exchange 2013
  • WSUS
  • MS o365 inc OneDrive and S4B/Teams
  • DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP addressing/subnet
  • VMware
  • McAfee EPO and McAfee Endpoint security inc. encryption
  • Active Directory and Group Policy
  • Desktop PC's - MS Windows 7 and 10 and MAC OS
  • PC's, laptops and printers (local/remote)
  • MS Office 2010, 2013, 2016
  • Microsoft Remote Desktop Services (RDS) support
  • PABX & VoIP telephone system
  • VLAN's
  • VPN's
  • Hotel bespoke systems (PMS, ePOS, Concept)
  • MDM for Android/iOS
  • wireless LAN troubleshooting
  • voice/video communication systems
  • IT implementation/migration projects
  • Liaise with 3rd Party support companies/suppliers
  • Create & maintain documentation
  • Maintain the IT asset register and IT audit information
  • On call/out of hours support

Desirable knowledge includes WatchGuard firewalls, AlienVault, Apple Mac Support

Senior IT Support Analyst -Policies and Procedures:
  • Adhere to all company and departmental policy and procedure.
  • Comply with statutory and company health and safety policies.
  • Attend weekly/monthly departmental meetings as required.
  • Ensure monthly accounting and reporting actioned as required.
  • Attend meetings and training as required.
  • Ensure regular and appropriate communication with other departments to maintain a courteous and professional relationship.
  • Attend work punctually.
  • Maintain the highest standards of personal presentation and hygiene.
  • Undertake any other reasonable tasks allocated by the Senior Management.

Senior IT Support Analyst - Key Skills:
  • Good role ambassador and able to maintain very good working relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Fluent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Must be appropriately resourceful and a keen trouble-shooter.

Senior IT Support Analyst - Person Specification:
