As part of our transformation and growth, we have a newly created vacancy for a 1st Line IT Helpdesk Analyst. The role will be the first point of contact for desktop support issues and will report to the IT Infrastructure Engineer. Your main objectives will be:
  • Ensure Helpdesk system status and content are up-to-date
  • Investigate and resolve problems for Users and systems including Desktops, Printers, PDQ, Networking, MacBooks
  • Maintain Active Directory, E-mail Users and Group Policy to ensure user information is optimal and Security policies are applied
  • Participate and manage office moves, adds and changes to facilitate a seamless transition
  • Manage Anti-virus monitoring and escalate any issues identified
  • Escalate difficult or high impact problems to manager, keeping them advised as situation changes
  • Adhere to and contribute to IT Policy
  • Support with asset tracking to ensure an up to date view of Stadium IT assets is always available
  • Creating and maintaining documentations such as installation guides and FAQs
  • Supporting Apprentice to resolve more complex issues
  • Be part of a monthly on-call rota with other members of the IT team as requested, for which an additional monthly payment is made

Essential skills and qualifications:
  • Proven track record in a 1st Level Help Desk role or similar
  • Using a helpdesk system
  • Operation and support of Windows desktops from Win7 through 10 and MS Office
  • Working knowledge of Networking including Switches and Firewalls
  • Experience of installing and administration of Office 2010, 2016 & O365 including Outlook
  • Able to produce clear and concise documentation
  • Strong communications skills

Desirable skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Operation and support of Mac Power Book and similar Apple products
  • Migration from Exchange to Office365
  • Operating and support of Windows Server 2012R2 onwards, Linux
  • Knowledge of Papercut
  • Wi-Fi networks including Zone Directors
