SEEKING: a 2:1 English graduate who aspires to become an English Teacher in the future.

Are you considering applying for teacher training but ideally want a role within a school to expand and build upon your experience beforehand?

Would working in a secondary school's English department help you decide whether teaching is the right route for you?

Our partner school are looking to secure an English Graduate who is passionate and creative for a Teaching Assistant role starting September 2019.

To begin, you will find yourself shadowing the class teachers in the department, taking mixed ability students throughout KS3-KS4 on 1:1 and small group interventions. As you grow in confidence interacting and passing your knowledge onto the younger generation is something you are keen to do via creative teaching. You want to bring the classroom to life and ensure that your lessons are stimulating and engaging.

The English department oozes with enthusiasm, the experienced teachers love to utilise their great resources and facilities to achieve high results. As well as having a close support network from the teachers in the English department, the successful English Teaching Assistant will be enrolled onto the schools CPD training led by a fantastic network of SLT.

Requirements:
-A 2:1 at the very least in your degree
-Great academics, Alevel and GCSE
-Passion and energy
