We are looking for an experienced Sales Engineer to join our growing business selling a wide range of compressed air and pneumatics solutions across the South and Midlands.

SALARY: £25,000 - £35,000

BENEFITS:
· OTE : £45,000 - £50,000

LOCATION: This is a field-based position covering the Home Counties and Midlands within an hour of the office but is not limited on geographical location. Ideally you will be based within an hour of our offices in Buckinghamshire.

JOB SPECIFICATION: Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Engineer - compressed air, pneumatics systems and hydraulics

We are an industry leader in the growing sector of Compressed air systems, pneumatic systems and hydraulics. Due to growth within the business, we have an opportunity for a Technical Sales Engineer / Sales Engineer to drive new and existing business across several industries, such as: Food Manufacturing, Drinks Manufacturing, Food Processing, Drinks Processing, Packaging Equipment, Processing Equipment, Utilities, Public Services (Police, Ambulance and Fire), Power, Nuclear, Medical and more.

Working alongside the Managing Director you will be responsible for taking on existing accounts and winning new business predominantly across the home counties with some clients across the wider UK too.

Your Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Engineer responsibilities will include:
· Identifying new target companies / territory planning
· Managing existing accounts
· Planning sales campaigns
· Booking and attending client meetings
· Quoting and tendering for new business
· Selling a range of products varying in value from £2k - £25k in a consultative manner
· Upsell our additional servicing / maintenance plans
· Offering great customer service

REQUIREMENTS: Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Engineer - compressed air, pneumatics systems and hydraulics

To be considered for this role you MUST be able to demonstrate experience of:
1. Selling compressed air systems, pneumatic systems or hydraulic systems
2. Experience selling products / solutions with an average order value of £5k or above.
3. Have a resilient and entrepreneurial mindset towards winning business.
4. Follow an applications based / consultative sales approach
5. Be skilled at identifying new business opportunities and setting up sales campaigns.
6. Full UK Driving License

An Engineering / Technical qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.
