Loretto School Limited's External Relations Directorate seeks to appoint a full-time, permanent, Manager to execute the delivery of a comprehensive and professional Development function. We are eager for an enthusiastic and highly motivated fundraising professional to join our team. This challenging post will attract applicants who are driven and proactive with excellent literacy, presentation and communication skills. The post offers an opportunity to take ownership of, manage and develop what will initially be a Generalist Specialist portfolio, with a remit broadly encompassing the following areas of Development: Fundraising, Alumni Relations, and Operations Management. Role Purpose The key purpose of the role is Fundraising. Principal Responsibilities The day to day management of the school's Development function, encompassing alumni relations, fundraising and stewardship activities. Additional Accountabilities, Responsibilities and Duties include but are not limited to: Legacy Fundraising Memorial Giving Community-wide fundraising Regular Giving Individual Giving Major Gifts Donor Stewardship Fundraising Events Prospect Management Community relationship-building Reporting Other general duties Skills It is anticipated that the successful candidate will have: Fluency in the use of ICT, the Microsoft Office suite of programmes, and will have both specific and high-functioning experience in Fundraising CRM software, such as InTouchCRM . Sophisticated and comprehensive communication, networking, social and presentation skills. The ability to work independently with excellent time management, organisation and administrative skills. A passion for detail, professionalism, authenticity and ethical working practices which engender pride and confidence in both the post holder and others. The ability to demonstrate by example the school's calibre with pride in personal appearance and professional practice. It is anticipated that the successful candidate will: Be a graduate or will present equivalent professional experience Present experience of the third sector: professional direct and indirect fundraising, event management, presentation, administration and publications. This post has standard working hours of 9am - 5pm, Monday - Friday, with 1 hour for lunch. Frequently, the post holder will be required to deliver the hours necessary to fulfil the business requirements of the position which will include significant and regular periods of time working outside these days / times, not infrequently away from the office, including during the School's holidays, evenings, and weekends Applications are welcomed until 17:00 on Monday 27 May 2019.
