Their Risk and Internal Control business provides risk-based Internal Audit, Governance, Risk Management Assurance & Consultancy services over financial, operational and IT processes and risks, to a broad range of client organisations. Clients include media, retail, real estate, financial services, manufacturing, technology and public sector organisations.

You will be responsible for:
  • Planning, managing and delivering complex internal audit, risk management and governance engagements
  • Leading and coaching team; ensuring their work is completed to a high technical standard
  • Planning activities including development of terms of reference, scheduling teams, developing budgets and client visits
  • Identification of key risks, assessment of systems and controls, and communicating the testing strategy
  • Analysis, design and implementation of risk and control improvement solutions
  • Networking and identifying opportunities for further work from new and existing clients
About You:
  • Professionally qualified with minimum of 2 years post qualification experience (ACA, ACCA, MIIA)
    • Practical experience in internal audit within a professional services firm or in-house function in industry
    • Professionally qualified or nearing completion of ACA, ACCA, IIA
    • Broad technical knowledge of audit, risk, governance, process and control
    • First class verbal and written communication skills; able to express ideas and information with clarity and conviction
    • Engaging; able to build relationships at senior level and work well in team
    • Experience managing , motivating and developing a team
    • Proactive and demonstrate commitment to continuous improvement; raising queries and challenging existing practices
    • Able to travel to client sites in and around Bristol - full clean driving license and access to a vehicle
