For an initial 6 month period, you will be responsible for helping to shape and enhance the management accounting function through analysis and successful maintenance of the department. Additionally, your role will also involve the successful line management of the support staff, ensuring that they achieve their targets while following processes and procedures.
Your duties will likely include:
- Producing and delivering on management accounts and reporting on key cost variances - Reviewing the balance sheet reconciliations for the Accounts Assistants and completing the final sign offs - Preparing compliance and statutory reports and submitting them in a timely manner - Conducting analysis for stakeholders across the business whilst also establishing strong relationships -Liaising with external parties to provide key information as required -Shaping the function and utilising any opportunities to improve controls and processes
To secure this role you will need to be available immediately and have proven experience within a Management Accountant capacity.
Any experience of consolidating accounting departments, working within finance at a public sector organisation or for charity, or use of Pegasus Opera could be beneficial.
