As part of the Business Intelligence team, reporting to the Senior Business Intelligence Manager, you will assist with the development, rollout and support of BI solutions.

An exciting opportunity is available to develop a career within our Business Intelligence team.. The successful candidate will work closely with our Finance department and be responsible for:

·Assisting with the development, rollout and support of BI solutions including:
  • Data Warehouse Development and Design
  • Data ETL (Extract Transform & Load) Processes
  • Data Cleanse Exercises
  • Management Reporting self-service tools / Month end reports
  • KPI Dashboards
  • Automatic email alerts
  • Ad-hoc reporting

·Carrying out extensive testing of BI solutions ensuring information is accurate.

·Producing supporting technical documentation and training materials for the BI solutions as required.

·Providing help and support to the BI end users, responding to support issues in a timely fashion.

·Updating and improving BI solutions in-line with ongoing business requirements.

·Building and maintaining interfaces between various systems and data sources.

·Ensuring that all automated processes are running to schedule.

This exciting opportunity would ideally suit a graduate with a degree in Computer Science, or suitable equivalent, looking to progress their career in Business Intelligence. The successful candidate will have a desire to learn as training will be provided. Any relevant application/database development or programming experience would be advantageous.

Desirable Skills

·Knowledge of programming fundamentals

·Good understanding of Relational Database Design concepts

·Knowledge in any of the following areas would be highly beneficial:
  • Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL) -
  • Microsoft Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code
  • VB.NET, C#.NET, VBScript & VBA
  • HTML, CSS, ASP.NET and JavaScript

·Competent in using Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

·Knowledge or experience of SharePoint is desirable.
The successful candidate will ideally have exceptional analytical skills, strong numeracy skills and excellent communication skills, be highly motivated and able to manage their time effectively.
