A leading retail bank with an established national presence, and a recognised commitment to being one of the country's top employers is seeking to expand its Financial Crime Risk Team in Edinburgh. This team is responsible for ensuring various departments are successfully mitigating Financial Crime risks by using the systems, tools and controls at their disposal.

Your new role
As a Fraud Systems & Analytics Manager, you will play a crucial role within the Financial Crime Risk team, working alongside the other Financial Crime Managers to ensure robust end-to-end Financial Crime management exits within the bank. Further responsibilities include:

  • Ownership of all aspects of system governance for all systems used to manage the risk of Fraud against the bank and its customers.
  • You will be accountable for the overall performance and optimisation of the fraud management systems, ensuring fraud losses remain within the risk appetite.
  • Management of all fraud system related risks ensuring mitigating actions are identified and completed.
  • Provide strong leadership and effectively manage he performance and talent of your direct reports.

What you'll need to succeed
Minimum 3 years' experience in Fraud or Risk analytics/intelligence work in a management/SME role is essential, with the successful candidate being well-versed in data analysis, SAS and SQL. Further, experience within project facilitation and technical SME advisory input is crucial as well as a strong history of delivering practical financial crime controls/solutions.

What you'll get in return
As a Fraud Systems & Analytics Manager you will receive a salary paying up to £65,000 as well as a competitive benefits package. This includes an annual bonus scheme, colleague discount and company share schemes. You will be entitled to 27 days holiday plus bank holidays with an option to purchase more if needed.
