Our leading brand client based in Birmingham City Centre are seeking a Training Assistant to join their vibrant team.

To be an integral member of the department by providing clinical and technical support and assist your line manager in delivering a structure for training. Your role is to act as the person responsible for ensuring that all tasks are completed in accordance with departmental processes and procedures in a timely and professional manner.

The role is varied with key responsibilities including supporting hearing clinical and technical training and administration; specifically audit, induction, product knowledge, systems and procedures. You will need to be organised, confident with technology, eager to learn and self motivated.


Role Duties and requirements

Hearing Training:
  • Support technical and clinical hearing training
  • Support growth and consistency in the company
  • Support in clinical standards
  • Support technical and product knowledge
  • Highlight any areas of concern
  • Understand and work within company procedures and policies

  • Support preparation of induction
  • Stay in contact while they are settling in
  • Provide support on company procedures and systems

Product Launch:
  • Understanding of hearing products
  • Support and update IT with product, accessories and soft wear update

  • Support audit processing
  • Support follow up requirements

Company Support:
  • Be proactive and driven to achieve successful results across all aspects of the role
  • Projection of a professional image and responsible manner at all times
  • Willingness to assist with any extra activities as appropriate as planned by line manager
  • To act as a positive ambassador for the Company at all times
  • Liaising with the required contacts including providing regular updates

Personal Development and other:
  • Committed to developing knowledge and understanding of hearing technology and training developments
  • Full understanding of relevant Company policies & procedures
  • Carry out additional tasks to support line manager as required

  • Ability to communicate at various levels, internally and externally
  • Thorough, with a strong attention to detail is essential
  • Have the ability to plan and organise effectively to schedule work to fit in with deadlines
  • Honest and committed
  • Able to work under own initiative with minimal supervision
  • Self starter with an aptitude to learn new skills, rise to a challenge and approach tasks with a "can do" attitude
  • Be adaptable and agile to meet business requirements

The ideal applicant will have worked in a Training environment. Experience within Hearing would also be desirable.

Working Hours are Monday to Friday 9.00am - 17.30pm (no weekends)
