I am working on behalf of a cutting edge, exciting, technology business based in Cambridge to help recruit them a purchase ledger clerk. The company are based close to the city centre and don't offer parking. (There is however off road parking nearby!)

This role can be worked across 4 or 5 days per week. (part time or full-time)

The successful candidate would support the financial controller and management accountant with the day to day transactional tasks.

The main duties of the role are as follows:
Input of Purchase Ledger invoices
Manage Concur expense system and expense claims
Payment runs to suppliers
Manage direct debits and process
Bank reconciliation
Maintain bank and credit card bookkeeping entries on Sage (multi currency)
Credit card statement reconciliation
Dealing with internal, customer and supplier queries
Monitoring of entertainment expenses
Various monthly reporting/data entry (Excel)
Assistance with various Excel based reconciliation's in support of the monthly and annual accounts
Assist FC in other duties as required

Ideally candidates will have worked in a similar role previously and will be available to start work within the next 2 weeks. It is desirable candidates have basic VAT knowledge, good experience of Excel and experience of Sage line 50.
