New to the market, fantastic Financial Controller vacancy for a very unique Cumbria business, a real market leader in their field. The business has sites across the UK and an exceptional reputation, this is definitely not your average FC role.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Reporting directly into the board this position will have full responsibility for the financial performance of the organisation.

RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS

• Management of the finance function and overseeing the finance team

• Preparation of budgets, forecasts and cash flows

• Maintenance of financial ledgers and accounting processes

• Preparation of Monthly Consolidated P&L and Balance Sheet

• Timely production of statutory and internal financial reports

• Cash management and treasury duties

• Ensuring that appropriate systems and internal controls and implemented and maintained

• Overseeing the Payroll process

• Preparation of VAT returns

QUALIFICATIONS

·ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualified

·Part qualified

·AAT

·QBE

EXPERIENCE

• Knowledge of finance accounting budgeting and forecasts

• Preparation statutory accounts

• Excellent management skills, motivational leader

• Strong excel and system skills
