Howarth Morris have an exciting Assistant Management Accountant opportunity for a £multimillion turnover, manufacturing business in Blackpool. This is a newly created role due to recent acquisitions and continued business growth. This is a fantastic opportunity for a bright and ambitious ACCA/CIMA studier, who is ready to take the next step in their career. You will be based in a friendly and supportive team, reporting to a Finance Manager fully committed to progressing you through your studies and your career.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production of the monthly management accounts for review
  • Variance Analysis with commentary
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Produce monthly flash for review
  • Prepayments, accruals and depreciation
  • Sales margin and overhead analysis
  • Support development of KPI reporting
  • Prepare/Monitor CapEx
  • Continuous improvement on processes
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Provide cover for AP/AR functions

Candidate Requirements:

  • Ideally be CIMA or ACCA Part Qualified
  • Solid Finance background
  • Good analytical proficiency
  • Advanced Excel skills
