Our fantastic client based in Tewkesbury is a leader in its industry working on project across the UK and abroad. They are now looking for a Compliance Manager to join their team.

They would be responsible for both the development of and ongoing maintenance of procedures, policies and work instructions to cover all aspects of Health & Safety, Environment and Quality and ensuring ongoing accreditation to ISO 9001, 20121 and 14001.

The busy industry that our client operates in means there will be a broad range of activities to be covered, from standard office and warehouse operations, through to complex installations at third party venues.

As a Compliance Manager your responsibilities will include:
  • Ensuring the continuing compliance to ISO Accreditations 9001, 20121 & 14001
  • Ordering of safety equipment
  • Maintaining stock levels
  • Inductions for new staff
  • Internal audits
  • Management of online training
  • Internal and external training
  • Checking and formalising all internal processes, forms & procedures.
  • Monitoring and ordering of first aid box supplies

Ideally you will have a background in health and safety, but training will be provided. You will have an understanding of Integrated Management System and its role in driving business improvements.

You will also have:
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels.
  • Ability to analyse and retain information effectively
  • Demonstrate a high attention to detail in performing tasks
  • Self-starter able to work under pressure to tight deadlines
  • Able to work independently and within a team environment

Salary: £26,000
