Credit Controller Role (Immediate Start)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Credit Controller to join the finance team based from our Head Office in Wrexham (LL13). Additional study support will be given.

What does the role involve?
  • Management of SAGE 200
  • Daily reconciliation of statements to ledger
  • Chase Debt
  • Allocate payments from the bank daily
  • Import the weekly sales ledger to sage 200, once the invoice register has balanced to our bespoke system
  • Input manual invoices and credit notes on ledger
  • Reconcile the invoices with Purchase Orders
  • Keep a clean ledger i.e. allocate any credit notes and payments on account to invoices
  • Ensure invoices/credit notes are posted to the correct nominal
  • Highlight any key issues immediately to Financial Controllers

Adhoc Duties
  • Will need to cover purchase ledger when necessary

Essential Skills/Knowledge:

• Excellent communication & exceptional people skills with onsite team and clients

• Excellent Excel of Microsoft Office experience
  • Maintain tidy ledgers
  • Meetings with the Financial controller and management accountant to go through any missing purchase orders & highlight any outstanding debt over 90 days plus. These are communicated to the operations director and managing director to chase.
