Are you interested in making a positive difference to the mental health of the residents of Lambeth and Southwark? Are you a natural innovator and people person? Are you an entrepreneurial self-starter? Could you create new events and projects and see them through? Do you have a deep interest in mental health?

Due to recent expansion of our free psychotherapy services, peer support services, information offer, and creative events calendar, we need a talented hands-on Deputy Director with the ability to get things done.

This would suit a mid-career mental health professional who would relish the challenge of developing creative new mental health services in an inner-city context.

Job description
  • Develop project management strategies for LS Mind's programme of free mental health services with actionable targets, in collaboration with the CEO
  • Pursue viable grants opportunities to fund LS Mind's core and project costs: complete funding applications, maintain excellent funder relationships and complete evaluation reports at regular intervals for our funders
  • Collect qualitative and quantitative data from LS Mind's projects to present in bi-monthly reports to our Management Board as well as grant reports
  • Manage LS Mind's project budgets and expenditure accounts using Quickbooks

Person Specification
  • Experienced mental health clinician (at least 3 years), preferably registered with UKCP, BACP or similar registration
  • Excellent time-management skills
  • Confident project manager and strategist
  • At least 3 years' management experience
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proficiency across MS Office
  • Excellent data collection and evaluation skills

Application by CV and covering letter to director@lambethandsouthwarkmind.org.uk by the 28th May 10am. Interviews will be held on Monday 3rd June.

We reserve the right to fill the position before the deadline.

We are an equal opportunities employer.
