Becoming an Accounts Receivable Manager with Capita

We require an experienced, Financial Shared Services AR Manager to join Capita to support our clients in realising low aged-debt levels. Based in Shepton Mallet, the Financial Shared Services AR Manager will work as a member of the Shared Services Lead's leadership team within the specified business unit to achieve that goal.

What you will do:
  • Management, growth and development of the offsite Accounts Receivable teams
  • Support on the transition of new clients into the offsite processing centre
  • Ensure completeness and accuracy of the transactional processes
  • Ensure efficient and effective processes are implemented across teams.
  • Ensure all contractual obligations are achieved and reported to client as part of month end reporting.
  • Ensure segregation of duties are in place
  • Ensure all statutory & non-statutory returns are completed in required timeline.
  • Internal MI reports are produced in line with timeline, from the system, and reported to LGS management.
  • Be proactive in ensuring contractual SLA's are achieved, including raising issues to the Shared Services Lead
  • Identify development opportunities and feedback to the Shared Services Lead.
  • Maintain relationship / point of contact with client teams and attendance at monthly client performance meetings and service improvement groups
  • Any other reasonable requirements as requested by management

Your experience will include:
  • Experienced in AP and AR processes
  • Experience of a shared service financial environment
  • Can demonstrate process improvement skills ie Six Sigma
  • Prior knowledge of client contractor relationship
  • MS Office suite, including advanced Excel, ie Vlookups & Pivot tables
  • Staff Management experience
  • Strong written & verbal communication
  • Robust & adaptable to change with ability to build relationships at a senior level
  • Innovative & problem solving
