Client Details

A well-known public sector organisation based just outside of York city centre are looking for some interim support in their finance team on a administrative level.

Description

The key responsibilities of the role will include but not be limited to:
  • Providing team with ad-hoc support
  • Processing invoices
  • Following strict processes
  • Main point of contact for internal and external finance queries
  • Monitoring answerphones and inboxes
  • Processing of payments
  • Inputting expenses and other data
  • Maintaining accuracy and time keeping at all times

Profile

The successful candidate will have the following key skills and experiences:
  • Experience of doing admin or a support function within a finance team
  • Public sector background would be desirable
  • Experience of working in a large business/organisation
  • Effective communication skills both internally and externally
  • Ability to work both as part of a team and independently
  • Strong customer service skills

Job Offer

The successful candidate will be offered the following:
  • Part time contract - 20 hours per week
  • Flexible working hours
  • £10-12 per hour depending on experience
