One of the most exciting roles I've come across, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a global company in a brand new area. You will be leading the way across the fraud industry is designing and implementing controls to combat Authorised Push Payment fraud.

THE COMPANY

A leading financial institution with transatlantic presence. As a household name, they offer a wide array of products giving you opportunity to work on large datasets that are hard to come by in most businesses. In line with recent FCA changes, the fraud team are one of few teams across the country who are leading the way in bolstering fraud capabilities for scam fraud. This role will be exciting and refreshing, whilst being able to tap into the training, development and exposure a multinational business can offer.

THE ROLE

Reporting into Senior Management, your role will involve:
  • Carrying out complex analytics in SAS on large datasets
  • Optimising the fraud prevention and detection systems in response to new fraud trends
  • Proposing strategic changes with a clear business case that maintains excellent customer experience
  • Supporting the team with wider fraud analytics and optimisation
  • Developing efficiency gains in the systems, processes and operations
  • Attending industry events and networking to keep up to date with other leading Financial Services providers and regulatory bodies such as the FCA regarding fraud scam development

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • 'Think outside the box' mindset
  • Highly experienced with SAS or SQL coding
  • Experience with fraud prevention and detection systems such as Falcon, NetReveal or Hunter
  • Previous strategy development
  • Strong understanding of the regulatory environments and how it affects financial institutions
  • Prior management exposure is beneficial
  • An analytical mindset with good numerical or statistical degree
