The Role:

Regional Sales Engineer
  • 80% of the role will be selling the Engineered Solutions range.
  • These are the bespoke systems (Hazardous material Storage Containers, Fired Rated Storage Containers, Gas Bottle storage) for manufacturers in Oil, Cleaning, Paint, Pharma, Chemical industries - or any industry that needs to store hazardous raw materials that are used in their manufacturing process safely.
  • These containers will be manufactured on site and then source heaters, extractor fans, lighting, gas detection and fire suppression systems.
  • Average order value for Engineered Solutions is £15-25k. The company have just completed a £250k deal for Lithium Ion battery storage for a F1 team.
  • Supported in the office by a dedicated Internal Sales Team with quotes, costings, pushing contracts through the factory and possibly liaising with clients on questions and some certification and documentation, and arrange some appointments too.
  • 20% of the time dealing with Catalogue Products; this includes over 6,000 product lines that are sold into manufacturers in Oil, Cleaning, Paint, Pharma and Chemical industries.
  • ONLY when 1 of the 3 ISEs on CP have a big ticket that needs to be closed face to face (100k e.g.)
  • You will be covering the North West, West Midlands, South West and Wales.
  • Reporting directly to the Managing Director.

The Ideal Person:
  • Equipment Sales to Process Manufacturing experience.
  • Ideally capex background.
  • Must be a technically minded solutions sales person who is able to learn quickly - you will have to learn about chemical behaviours, fire patterns, legalities as part of this job.
  • Able to manage and qualify pipeline efficiently.
