*£60-70 per day as SEN Learning Support Assistant

This role is ideal for a graduate who is looking for a career specialising in SEN or as an Education Psychologist. This mainstream school are looking for a graduate who has completed their degree and has gained a classification of a 2:2 or above.

This SEN Learning Support Assistant role will see the successful candidate working in a mainstream primary school as of September 2019, supporting the pupils with special educational needs. To be considered for this role, ideally you must have already had previous experience with SEN (Autism, ADHD, Asperger's etc.). You must be able to handle challenging situations in a professional manor and create an outstanding relationship with the pupils to be able to understand their needs.

The SEN Learning Support Assistant will be working with the SEN pupils on a 1:1 or small group basis, depending on the need of the pupils. You will be able to help the pupils understand the curriculum through creative teaching techniques.

The Colchester school is well-known for the support they give their staff and the successful SEN Learning Support Assistant will find themselves working closely with the SENCo and class teachers and must be able to demonstrate that they can communicating in an effective and professional manor to ensure the pupils are getting the best out of their education.

The appointed SEN Learning Support Assistant will receive CPD training and also be made aware of the structured behavioural management procedures.
