We are looking for a creative and positive Coach to join the team in Stonewater's Poole Quay Foyer, which delivers quality support for some of the most vulnerable members of our community. You will deliver person-centered, strengths based support to enable people accessing Stonewater's services to realise their potential.

Driven by our vision for everyone to have the opportunity to have a place that they can call home, we're a leading social housing provider with a mission to deliver good quality, affordable homes to people who need them most.

We manage around 32,000 homes, serving 65,000 customers across our portfolio of affordable properties for general rent, and shared ownership and sale, as well as specialist accommodation, and an ambitious house-building programme.

We're looking for like-minded people to join our team of over 800 colleagues who embody our values of being ethical, ambitious, passionate, agile and commercial, as well as people who want to make a difference and transform people's lives.

The role:
  • Managing a caseload of customers, offering specialist young people's support services.
  • Managing referrals into the service, undertaking interviews and assessments and inducting new customers.
  • Delivering quality, outcome focused support sessions both on a one-to-one and group basis.
  • Maintaining up to date risk assessments for all customers, ensuring compliance with Stonewater Safeguarding policies and appropriately managing Safeguarding concerns.
  • Identify and signpost customers to any support they may benefit from from partner agencies.
  • Supporting customers to pay their rent, service charge and any personal charges in accordance with their license agreement.

The ideal candidate:
  • Level 3 qualification or equivalent, eg. Health and Social Care.
  • Proven experience working with vulnerable people with support needs.
  • Proven experience of caseload management.
  • Able to demonstrate partnership working with specialist agencies.
  • Working knowledge of housing and benefits advice.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Able to work under pressure using your own initiative, and able to work positively and creatively with people with support needs.

Appointment to this role will be subject to a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service Check, satisfactory references and possession of a valid Right to Work document.
Our Offer:
At Stonewater we offer excellent benefits which help make us a great place to work!
  • A retirement savings plan - up to 7% matched contribution rate
  • Life assurance - 3.5x contractual pay
  • Career development and progression opportunities
  • Holiday starting at 26 days with the option to buy/sell
  • Deals and Discounts on shopping, travel, optical etc.
  • Healthcare cash plan
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Annual Company Day
