Reed Accountancy are delighted to offer this excellent opportunity on behalf of well-established business for the position of Purchase Ledger Clerk within a busy, high volume environment which requires good organisational skills and a need to prioritise tasks. To carry out this role you will need a working knowledge of Purchase Ledger systems and processes. You will be self-motivated and able to craft strong relationships with others.

Duties will include;

• Contributing to the smooth running of the company's Purchase ledger and Expenses function

• Ensuring invoices are correctly authorised in line with company policy

• Checking and coding invoices

• Inputting high volumes of invoices to Purchase ledger system

• Dealing with invoice discrepancies and supplier queries

• Using Excel spreadsheets for importing large invoices

• Opening and distributing post

• Supplier Statement reconciliation

• Filing, scanning and ad hoc duties as required
