Our client is a boutique corporate services firm specialising in the AIM listed and smaller FTSE-listed market. Offering a tailored and personal approach, many of their clients have been with them since their inception. Due to the company winning further business, there is a growing need for another consultant to join the small team to act in a client-facing capacity, including on-client-site meetings attendance. This is a position that could suit someone with a couple of years' experiences looking for the 'next step', or for a well-established professional looking to hit the ground running. Due to their size, they can consider part-time and flexible working options.

Role and responsibilities
  • Ensuring compliance with the Companies Act, listing rules, MAR and other relevant legislation;
  • Arranging AGMs and other ad hoc general meetings;
  • Arranging, attending and taking minutes at board and committee meetings;
  • Working on corporate transactions, including IPOs;
  • Providing company secretarial advice and assistance in respect of specific projects;
  • Advising and administering client company share option schemes;
  • Coordinating the production of reports and accounts;
  • Company incorporations and dissolutions.

Experience and qualifications
  • ICSA Qualified (Preferred)
  • Degree level background
  • Knowledge and understanding of UK listing requirements

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal
  • Able to work well within a team based environment and also on an autonomous basis when required
