Commercial Account Handler - About the role

To provide exemplary client services by advising on the appropriate insurance products suitable for each risk whilst identifying, omissions from customers policies. To consistently achieve KPIs and sales in a profitable and compliant manner by making and receiving a high volume of calls per day, accurately gathering risk information to go to market.

Commercial Account Handler - Key duties

Sales: New business, Renewals and MTAs

Clients: SME / Mid Corporate

Product lines: Commercial Combined, Commercial Packages & Schemes, Leisure, Property Owners, Liability, PI, Fleet, Cyber, D&O etc

Premium sizes: £100 - £30,000

Markets: Composites, Binding authority, London markets and Lloyd's

Systems: Internal software house, insurer portals, Open Gi

Call prospective new clients / previous clients to gather information regarding their policies with the view to offering them quotations.

Knowledge of commercial insurance lines and fleet

Cross sell products with other departments to help achieve the Group's overall income targets

Commercial Account Handler - Key requirements

Proven insurance sales background

A proactive, entrepreneurial and can-do individual

The candidate must be adaptable to change and be willing to learn

Thrives in pressured environments

General computer literacy, Microsoft Word and Excel literate

Excellent attention to detail

Excellent telephone manner with confidence fact finding clients

1 year's min commercial insurance experience

Experience dealing with commercial combined

Smart, professional in manner and attire
