Prospero Teaching are proud to be working on behalf of our client primary school located in Moston, M40.

A smaller than average, one and a half form entry primary school. Which prides itself in supporting the local community and surrounding areas.

Graded 'good' in the last Ofsted inspection, this inclusive school has large volumes of EAL pupils and supports all children from a wide variety of backgrounds.

The role will be working and assisting two children who have been given additional funding.

Position Details
- Location - Moston (M40), Greater Manchester
- Position - Teaching Assistant (SEN experience desired)
- Type of work - 1-2-1 direct work with identified children
- Likely Duration - Ongoing
- Contract type - Temporary - Permanent Programme
- Rate of pay - £65 - £75 (Negotiable Pay)




The Role

·Working directly with a Year 3 pupil who displays signs of an attachment disorder
·A firm approach will be needed, but also a caring and nurturing assistance required daily.

·Supporting a Year 1 child with Autism
·Although no signs of challenging behaviour, this child will require support academically.

·Help with social integration within the school environment and academic support.
·Ability to be flexible across the whole of the KS2 department




Experience, Training and Qualifications

·Essential that you have completed your Teaching Assistant Qualification
·Up-to-date Safeguarding training is imperative; you can undertake a free course with Prospero Teaching if you have not completed a Safeguarding course in the last 12 months.
·Strong work ethic is a must.

·Possess an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
·Provide two professional child related references.
