Are you an account manager or IT Product Specialist looking to develop your skills within an IT distribution organisation with a global reach? Westcon-Comstor are currently seeking a highly-motivated, knowledgeable, friendly and proactive Vendor Specialist with a minimum of 2 years' experience working in either a proactive sales role or product management role, preferably within the IT industry.

You would be working with a Vendor team delivering exceptional customer service, giving support to the internal and external Sales functions, with Vendor Specialist knowledge.


* Specialist Vendor knowledge
* SalesView (CRM) - Pipeline management
* Support/Drive Vendor specific Promotions
* Supporting the Product Specialists and Sales with BOM and quoting
* Supporting Sales with the closing of opportunities
* Supporting Strategic sales with pre-sales, accreditations, training, enablement, focus sales days

Person specification:

A self-motivated individual with an appetite to succeed with a minimum of 2 years' experience working as a proactive Internal Account Manager or Product Specialist within IT.

Desired skills include:

* Significant work experience in customer service or sales strongly preferred
* Able to memorise product specifications and demonstrate use accurately
* Able to work cooperatively as part of a team
* Must be reliable and punctual
* Desire to continue to develop skills and knowledge
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Outstanding interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
* Articulate and well-spoken with excellent phone and email etiquette
* Strong work ethic, self motivated
* Demonstrate honesty and integrity at all times
