Main Duties and Responsibilities: As a Sr Principal Customer Engagement Engineer for the Systems and Verification Group you will be responsible for partnering with the Technical Field Organization to identify and drive engagement opportunities at major customers connecting various levels of the Product Engineering and R&D teams into critical engagements. Through TFO and customer interaction the role requires you to identify customer challenges and define solutions using one or many of Cadence Verification products in concert and to then deploy them. You will be collaborating with key customers deploying advanced simulation flows from High-level design capture through to gate-level simulation and sign-off. In addition, you will have a key role in R&D prioritization and escalation, providing customer context to Functional PEs regarding priority of feature enhancements and bug fixes. The Sr Principal Customer Engagement Engineer will be expected to work independently and collaborate with other team members to address customer issues, identifying new opportunities or risks that are linked to those activities. You will collaborate with the R&D teams to influence the tools and methodology road map based upon customer requirements. Skills, Qualifications and Experience Required: This position requires a solid understanding and significant experience of all Verification Technologies Simulation-based verification flows such as RTL and GLS Advanced testbench languages such as, SystemVerilog Constrained Random methodologies such as eRM, OVM,UVM Simulation Acceleration using Palladium SW-Driven verification ideally Perspec Verification IP, knowledge of AMBA, PCIe, DDR Full Arm-based SoC verification flow This job requires significant demonstrable of advanced verification experience with extensive hands-on experience across more than one major verification technology. Extensive demonstrable experience using Xcelium simulator Extensive demonstrable experience of Metric Driven Verification using vManager Experienced in Portable Stimulus and use of Perspec for Use-case Driven Verification Knowledge of Arm-based IP and SoC verification Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Good problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and productively providing high quality output and results in a fast paced and dynamic environment. Depending on background and experience, this opportunity brings with it a basic salary of between £78,000 - £83,000, also eligible for a 10% company performance related bonus, a company car or car allowance would be provided of £500 per month.
