Sales Order Processor

Mainline employment are currently recruiting for a Sales order processor to work in a small yet busy team based in Swindon. The role will be working in a busy trades counter office and will be highly customer focused you will be communicating and supporting a range of customer via a number of communication outlets. We are looking for someone with a positive 'can do' attitude and highly reliable.

Main duties;
  • Supporting customers on the best product for them, this may include helping showing them designs and going over fittings and measurements with the customers - numerical and math skills are vital in this position
  • Upselling products to customers
  • Dealing with walk in customers, this can range from trades people who already have a basic knowledge of the product to new customers who will need more support and advice
  • Going through the relevant training for the role and ensuring you are always up to standard with all product knowledge
  • Completing the administrative duties from beginning to end of the sale process
  • Handling cash and processing payments

Skills required;
  • An excellent communicator who is approachable and patient however has the ability to be assertive when needed
  • Experience either within a sales role or a counter trade store would be highly desirable
  • Ability to be able to understand technical measurements and figures (trigonometry)
  • Any experience with using the software package of 1st degree designer would be well received
