My client in the Hertford area is looking for a Payroll Supervisor to join their HR team.

Main responsibilities:

• Supervise the collection of all payroll data for the group and accurately and timely process monthly payroll.

• Provide HR Administration support to achieve HR and the Organisation's objectives

Accountabilities:

• To maintain an excellent rapport with internal customers and internal departments, keeping Managers and staff informed as necessary and building effective relationships

• To collate all bonus, commission and overtime forms by required deadline, checking for accuracy and it has the appropriate authorisation and process monthly payroll

• To be knowledgeable of taxation system in order to assist staff

• To accurately update salary, bonus, commission and special payment details on Sage and apply updated tax codes and process SSP

• To control pay and reconcile NI and PAYE

• To deduct staff loans, advances and court orders as required

• To produce payroll reports and payslips as required

• To collate figures for and submit accruals monthly and post nominal ledger journal monthly and update audit summary with payroll costs

• To submit pension contributions monthly

• To process childcare tax vouchers and distribute to staff

• To complete P46 car forms

• Process mileage logs

• To process all end of year documentation as required by Group Financial Controller including P11d and PAYA settlement agreement

• To conduct an annual driving licence check and maintain insurance schedule

• Other HR administration as required by Group HR Manager
