Management Accountant North London/ Herts Permanent role Great Salary + Benefits Our client is a specialist engineering/ manufacturing company operating around the globe is looking for a Management Accountant to join their established team. The role will include; To ensure accuracy and integrity of the accounting systems and underlying transactions Deliver and sustain an adequate financial/operating reporting system Supporting the finance function as required Main purpose of role Preparation of daily, weekly and monthly reports highlighting the financial performance of the company Maintaining balance sheet reconciliations for key accounts Supporting the annual and internal audits Ensuring compliance in accordance with corporate policies and performing relevant reporting to support this function Assist in the preparation and delivery of budgets/projections Work closely with the shared services centre to ensure completion of all tasks with efficiency and accuracy Support the month end process in accordance with strict deadlines Prepare accurate and informative variance analyses for key accounts Support process changes in the Finance area to ensure the provision of timely and relevant information to key business owners. Support cross functional and cross divisional process improvement initiatives. Any other tasks that sits outside your current role from time to time to support the activities of the business. Qualifications, skills and desirable experience
• Qualified Professional Accounting qualification.
• 2-5 Years Management Accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Good knowledge of ERP systems and proficient use of MS Excel. Personal attributes

• Be commercially aware and enjoy interacting with cross functional teams across an organization.
• Self-starter with demonstrated efficient work methods, analytical & problem solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
• Have the ability to plan and manage your own time.
• Flexible, shares knowledge with the team and other departments.
• Good communication skills.
